Network access, software updates, and replacement units are part of the service. Damaged radios are swapped, not invoiced.

Managed service questions
- Can we buy the radios outright?
- No. Merlin6 is supplied as a managed service so that hardware is replaced when it wears out and every unit stays on current software. You keep working equipment rather than an ageing asset.
- What happens if a radio is damaged?
- Report it on the channel or through the support desk and a replacement is dispatched within one business day. Fair wear and tear is covered by the service.
- Is there a minimum term?
- Small fleets run on a monthly rolling term. Larger fleets are usually agreed over a longer period in exchange for pooled spares and rollout support.
- Do we need our own network contracts?
- No. Cellular access is included in the service, and the radios also use your wifi, your Starlink terminal, or direct mesh where no network exists.
